Marks, Forts, and Confessions (Eloise McEniry)

For my fort, I focused on the importance of remembering particularly changing moments in life.  These moments, I believe, most commonly come in the form of close moments with another person.  I wanted to create an interactive piece where people could reflect upon moments in their own lives, and in that way, add to the ambiance, comfort, and enclosure of the fort.  I wanted to create a layering of these changing moments so as to bring the viewer’s attention to the fact that a formative moment with one person leads to similarly close moments with other people.
